Welcome to Edenbridge Lodge: No 7462

in the Masonic Province of West Kent

Edenbridge Lodge No 7462 was consecrated in 1956 in Tunbridge Wells.

We are a sociable group whose principal aims are to foster friendship, raise money for charities and provide personal development opportunities for our members within the framework of Freemasonry.

We meet in the Four Elms Village Hall under the auspices of The United Grand Lodge of England and are part of the Masonic Province of West Kent.

WHAT IS FREEMASONRY?

(It’s not a Secret Society but a Society of Secrets ……. there is a difference)

Freemasonry is one of the world’s oldest and largest non-religious, non-political, fraternal and charitable organisations. Its roots are in the tradition of early stone masons who built our cathedrals and castles.

Members hope to shape their lives on principles of Integrity, Kindness, Honesty, Fairness and Tolerance.

Freemasonry means different things to each member e.g. making new friends, personal growth, a hobby and having fun with like-minded individuals.

Lasting friendships are formed.

Freemasonry does not discriminate on grounds of race, colour, religion, disabilities, political views or social standing.

Giving to Charity is an important element of freemasonry. You can read more about our charitable efforts here...

There are many reasons for becoming a freemason and Edenbridge Lodge members will be very happy to meet or talk to any enquirer without obligation. If you would like to find out more please complete the form below.

WHAT IS

JOINING US

We welcome new members and existing freemasons who wish to join our Lodge.

The usual way to become a freemason is to be introduced by someone you know to be a mason. If this doesn’t apply to you it is not a problem to joining us and the situation can be overcome.

If you would like to take this further or need more information please complete the form opposite.
